Samira Danesh

The collection of bronze sculptures of Samira Danesh was formed according to Jacques Lacan’s theories.

This collection’s concept shows the existence of people who are trying to find the meaning of life
between reality and illusion. In this case, Lacan tends to make the connection between illusion, reality
and consciousness. This field is the most common experience which every person has in her daily life.
The transformed illusions from virtual space to reality are abstracted in these harsh bodies. the metal
circles that are used in the composition are the signs of life and the world, and the shape of the
sculptures are sneaking and prowling around the circle to consider more and more in her life.
